JAMES becomes MARC4J

The wonderful Java MARC processing library, JAMES, has changed its name to MARC4J. This occurs at the same time that the library becomes a part of the Tigris open source community. MARC4J allows for MARC records to be handled in the same way as SAX events. This allows for the efficient extraction of information from MARC records using an interface familiar to most XML programmers. The announcement, that was posted on the XML4LIB list, also said there would be a new version of the library, with significant parts of the MARC processing rewritten, due out in the middle of July.

This is a great package, I wonder if I should change my loader to use it. Both the mappings in this package and the way Pytheas handles MARC dovetail with how OAI approaches MARC, which in turn translates well to MODS.
