Spotted this job posting on the Mozilla-RDF list. It describes putting together a Digital Asset Management (DAM) application with Mozilla in the same manner as Mozilla Calendar and Thunderbird. The position is only open to candidates who live in L.A., but substitute XML-Marc or Metadata for DAM and it would be a fantastic combination for a library application. Imagine getting paid to do something like this, maybe there's hope for more Mozilla apps in the library world if other communities are recognizing what a great application platform Mozilla is.
